Why Was Gaia Rising Ministry Started?

The story of Gaia Rising Ministry is a testament to the power of vision, community, and transformation. It all began during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic when May, driven by a desire for a more sustainable and harmonious way of living, envisioned relocating to a remote location with Jo. They dreamed of living off-grid and purchasing land to build a self-sustaining community. As the years passed, May realized that going off-grid, while appealing, wouldn't be as beneficial for the broader community as providing holistic services to help raise vibrations and expand consciousness.

In 2021, a pivotal moment occurred when May, Jo, and Jona came together with a shared mission: to provide sacred mushroom medicine to the community. This vision transformed Gaia Rising from the concept of an off-grid community into a Metaphysical Myco-Church. Each brought unique skills and passions to the table: May became a degreed metaphysical minister, Jo honed his NLP practitioner knowledge, and Jona became a reiki master.

Together, they identified common initiatives that would become the cornerstone of Gaia Rising Ministry: the Community Care Fund, Sacred Plant Medicine Research and Development, and the Retreat House Fund. These initiatives reflect their commitment to fostering holistic healing, spiritual exploration, and personal growth within the community.
